Manchester United had a solid 2022/23 campaign but they are still way off being able to challenge the likes of Manchester City for the Premier League title.
On the transfer front, Man United likely needed at least one striker through the door, a central midfielder or two, a goalkeeper and a centre-back to provide better cover for Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
Two of the players linked to help with this have been Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund and AS Monaco centre-back, Axel Disasi.
And now, the Daily Mail have reported that United have been boosted after being informed that both Hojlund and Disasi want to move to Old Trafford this summer.
Disasi is a decent centre-back option who is still fairly young and will provide good cover for United’s aforementioned starting centre-back pair.
As for Hojlund, whilst he is a promising young striker with great potential, he may not be the best option for Man United this summer.
