According to Ben Jacobs, Manchester United are among the clubs to be eyeing up Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, and they’ve discussed him internally.
Fabrizio Romano also provided an update on the Argentine’s future:
“I expect Alexis Mac Allister to have a very good chance to make his top club move in the summer, this is the player’s idea,” Romano said.
“But I’m also sure Brighton will be tough in the negotiations, as always. There are really many clubs following Mac Allister, at this stage everything is premature. I don’t expect him to move for less than €60m.”
The Argentine had a bright start to the 2022/23 campaign, which saw him score five Premier League goals for Brighton despite being used as a defensive midfielder.
He then linked up with Argentina for the 2022 World Cup, where he played a crucial role in his country lifting the title.
He has since returned to Brighton and has been in top form as the Seagulls push for a European place.
