Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Jean-Clair Todibo during the summer transfer window.
Caught Offside claim the 23-year-old has a contract with OGC Nice until the summer of 2027 and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United can agree or a deal with them for the French defender.
As per reports via GFFN, Manchester United are keeping tabs on the Monaco defender Axel Disasi as well.
Todibo joined Nice in 2021 from FC Barcelona in a cut-price deal. He has since featured 109 times for the French outfit, including on 34 occasions in Ligue 1 during the 2022/23 season.
Todibo has a similar profile to the aforementioned Dias, so Man United’s decision on who to sign will likely come down to the price of both players. No transfer fee is mentioned for Todibo.
Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez are United’s current starting centre-back pair, and the arrival of a new centre-back likely means one of Harry Maguire and Lindelof will be sold in the summer to make room.
