Manchester United are considering a move for Atalanta wonderkid Rasmus Hojlund this summer, according to reports.
According to Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet, Man United have shown ‘concrete’ interest in the 20-year-old, who joined Atalanta from Austrian side Sturm Graz last summer.
He has impressed during his spell in Serie A, scoring seven goals in 23 league appearances. And most recently netted five times in Denmark’s first two Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Furthermore, as per Transfermarkt, Hojlund’s transfer value has skyrocketed by an incredible 677 per cent.
He is now valued at €35m and it is likely that Manchester United would have to pay a higher fee to bring him to Old Trafford – especially after his recent international exploits.
But whilst Hojlund would be a good signing for the Red Devils, Manchester United will still likely need to add a second striker to their ranks.
