According to The Athletic, Sergio Reguilon has signed his Manchester United contract ahead of completing a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United looked set for a quiet end to the transfer window but after an injury blow to Luke Shaw on top of Tyrell Malacia already being sidelined, United were left very short at left-back.
This has seen the Red Devils jump into the transfer market to find a suitable replacement for their currently injured stars.
Marc Cucurella of Chelsea appeared to be the man on United’s radar but the last day or so has seen links to Reguilon intensify, with a deal now all but official.
The 26-year-old travelled to Manchester for a medical last night after the two clubs agreed a straight season-long loan with no fee or option to buy.
It is added that the final paperwork is now being completed before an official announcement later today.
