Manchester United are interested in signing the Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga at the end of the season, according to Football Insider.
Veiga has a contract with the Spanish club until the summer of 2026.
Veiga is a product of Celta Vigo’s academy. He is naturally a no.10 but he can also operate as an 8 and has even played a few games on the right-wing. This would make him an excellent option to provide cover for the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen next season.
The youngster has made 45 appearances for Celta Vigo, with 29 of those outings coming in 2022/23. In said outings, he has scored nine goals and provided four assists.
The report adds that Manchester United have scouted him several times this season and are lining up a move for the 20-year-old at the end of the campaign.
Manchester United are not the only side interested in the Spaniard, however, as previous reports have linked Liverpool with a move for the young Spaniard.
