Napoli centre-back Kim Min-Jae has spoken out about the rumours that have linked him with a move to Manchester United.
Kim Min-jae has only been with Napoli since the summer of 2022 but he is already one of the best centre-backs in the Serie A.
The 6ft 2 stopper has featured in all but one of Napoli’s 27 Serie A games so far this season.
In that time the current league leaders have shipped just 16 goals, which is the best record in the division by some distance.
His excellent form has seen him linked with Manchester United a fair bit over the course of the current campaign.
However, during the current international break, Kim has hit out at the rumours and said they are uncomfortable:
“It’s been four or years I have had these rumours. It’s uncomfortable. I wish you don’t spread those stories.”
This is a major blow for United fans who are well aware they need another top-quality defender through the door this summer.
But should United be able to persuade Kim to join, he is said to have a fairly low release clause:
