With the ownership issues still seemingly nowhere near over, Manchester United are struggling in the transfer market.

Manchester City are close to signing Matteo Kovacic and have made a major bid for Josko Gvardiol, whilst Arsenal look to be closing in on deals for Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have made little headway in the transfer market, seemingly giving up on their pursuit of Mason Mount after a third bid was rejected.

One of the issues facing United looks to be a lack of funds to target big names such as Harry Kane.

Now though, the Daily Mail have reported that Manchester United will listen to offers for up to 13 players this summer in the hope of raising as much as £100m for new signings.

It is added that Erik ten Hag’s budget has been cut to around £120m due to Financial Fair Play restrictions as he looks to sign a midfielder, a striker and a goalkeeper. So, using player sales to fund transfers makes sense.
