Marc Cucurella wants to remain at Chelsea this summer, according to the Evening Standard.
The Spaniard wants to fight for his place in the team under Mauricio Pochettino.
He is keen to impress the new Blues manager in the first week of pre-season training.
Cucurella will face strong competition though as he is competing against Ben Chilwell and Lewis Hall.
The 24-year-old had a very tricky first season at Stamford Bridge with the fans turning on him.
He was booed by the supporters in back-to-back matches against West Ham and Borussia Dortmund in February.
