Under his tenure, RBS has been crowned league champion in both of his seasons in charge at Red Bull Arena, while also claiming the 2021-22 UNIQA ÖFB Cup.
Jaissle has signed a three-year contract with Al-Ahli until June 2026, becoming the sixth European manager to arrive in the Roshn Saudi League this summer after Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard took up his new posting at Al-Ettifaq.
Additionally, Portuguese duo Jorge Jesus and Luís Castro opted to join Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, with Slaven Bilić and Yannick Ferrera heading off to Al-Fateh and Al-Riyadh respectively, while Former Wolves and Tottenham manager Nuno Espírito Santo arrived at Al-Ittihad in 2022.
Jaissle will have a cadre of talent ready at his disposal upon arrival, with Al-Ahli having already brought in Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez, and Édouard Mendy, while Al Malaki is confident at securing a move for Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
