As covered by 101 earlier today, Chelsea have announced their first signing of the summer as they confirm that Christopher Nkunku has joined the club from RB Leipzig on a long term deal.

But despite this deal and over £600m’s worth of transfers being made in the last two windows, Chelsea are still keen to complete more business in the 2023 summer window.

One of the areas being targeted was goalkeeper, with Inter Milan shot-stopper Andre Onana heavily linked with the west Londoners as a replacement for the seemingly outbound Edouard Mendy

However, reports on Sunday claimed that Chelsea have now ended their interest in Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Now, on Tuesday, the Evening Standard report that the willingness of Mauricio Pochettino to make Kepa Arrizabalaga his No.1 goalkeeper next season has shifted Chelsea’s transfer strategy.

Pochettino believes that, along with goalkeeping coach Toni Jimenez, he can take Kepa to the next level.
