The wheels are well and truly in motion over a deal for Mykhaylo Mudryk to join Arsenal.
The Gunners are reported to have submitted their opening offer for the winger on Monday.
The bid of €40m plus €20m in add-ons fell short of Shakhtar Donetsk’s valuation but a deal is expected to be eventually agreed.
Yesterday, the 21-year-old also dropped a clear hint over his desire to make the switch to north London.
