Kim Min-jae has only been with Napoli since the summer of 2022 but he is already one of the best centre-backs in the Serie A.
The 6ft 2 stopper has featured in all but two of Napoli’s 35 Serie A games so far this season.
In that time the now Serie A champions have shipped just 25 goals, which is the best record in the division.
His excellent form has seen him linked with Manchester United a fair bit over the course of the current campaign.
Now though, as per Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been interested in a potential transfer deal Kim for some time now, but Newcastle have also sent their scouts to keep tabs on the player.
He continues that the South Korea international is one of Man Utd’s targets, though they could face competition from Newcastle, while Napoli could even try offering him a new deal in order to bump up his release clause from the current €47m fee.
