A fresh insight into the potential summer reunion between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has been provided on Thursday evening.
The name of Brazilian international Neymar has of course come back to the fore in a major way in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last 24 hours.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the Camp Nou brass had entered into serious discussions over the possibility of bringing the club’s former attacker back to La Liga.
PSG, for their part, are understood to have made it clear to Neymar that he no longer features in the club’s plans.
A sensational loan move to Barca, in turn, has even been touted by some outlets.

If the latest word stemming from the media late on Thursday is anything to go by, however, then one major stumbling block remains in any potential reunion: Xavi Hernandez.
Xavi, however, has made it abundantly clear that he does not view his former teammate as the right addition to his Blaugrana squad.
Any potential transfer therefore hinges on Neymar’s ability to convince Barca’s boss of his readiness to contribute.
