As confirmed in an official statement across social media, stopper and club captain Coady has sealed a return to his home town, to link up with boyhood club Everton.
The transfer comes in the form of a season-long loan, featuring the option to buy in 12 months’ time:
‘Defender Conor Coady has completed a season-long loan move to Everton, with an option for the Merseyside club to make the transfer permanent.’
