French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain have, late on Friday evening, announced yet another big-money addition to the club’s first-team ranks.
The latest player to have put pen to paper on terms with Luis Enrique’s side? Randal Kolo Muani.
The subject of frontman Kolo Muani’s future, of course, has proven headline news across the entirety of the summer window.
This comes after the 24-year-old, fresh off a stellar season with Eintracht Frankfurt, and breakout showing at the World Cup with France, was added to the shopping lists of a number of Europe’s top clubs.
Over the course of the summer, the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Real Madrid were all tipped as potential landing spots for Kolo Muani.
When all was said and done, though, it was PSG who positioned themselves at the front of the queue, culminating in lengthy negotiations with their counterparts at the aforementioned Eintracht.
As alluded to above, though, late on Friday night, with the deadline closing in, the PSG brass have at long last managed to push a deal over the line.
This comes owing to a mammoth last-minute bid, with the potential to rise to €90 million (75 up-front & 15 in add-ons).
As per an announcement across the official website and social media platforms of the Ligue 1 champions:
‘Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Randal Kolo Muani. The French striker, who will wear number 23, has signed a 5-year contract with the Club.’
