Sesko, 19, is plying his trade with RB Salzburg and has a contract with the Austrian outfit until 2026.
Sesko featured 36 times for Salzburg last term, netting 10 and assisting seven in the process.
He has also hit the ground running in 2022/23, scoring two and assisting one in his first three outings of the season.
And despite his tender years, the hitman is already a regular feature for the Slovenia national side, scoring two in his first 13 matches for his country following a debut in June of 2021.
This has attracted the interest of Manchester United, with it reported recently that Red Devils chief Richard Arnold met with the player’s representatives to discuss a possible transfer.
Now though, it looks as though Manchester United could lose out on the hitman.
With Karim Benzema reaching the latter stages of his career, signing a long-term replacement would be a smart move for Madrid, who are likely to play Kylian Mbappe as a left-winger if they sign him anyway.
Little more information is given on Madrid’s interest in Sesko. But if you are a young talent that has to pick between one of the best clubs in the world right now or a Manchester United team who just notched their lowest ever points total in the history of the Premier League, it is likely to be a no-brainer.
