Chelsea look set for a very busy January transfer window as Todd Boehly looks to continue to bolster Graham Potter’s squad.
The Blues remain outside the top four but there appears to be an understanding that several new additions are required.
One player the west London club are strongly considering is João Félix and here’s how the club are planning to sign him…
Chelsea ready to make Félix move
Chelsea are looking to sign João Félix on an initial loan deal next month, according to the Telegraph.
The forward has been made available for transfer by Atlético Madrid.
Félix has struggled to impress under Diego Simeone and this season he has totally fallen out of favour with the Argentine.
Now, Atléti are ready to let him leave in January and understand they are not likely to recoup the £113 million fee that they paid for him back in 2019.
The Blues look set to be the club ready to act the quickest with owner Todd Bohley keen to move quicker than the competition.
Chelsea want to sign him on loan until the end of the season with either an obligation or an option to buy.
Félix would offer competition all along the forward line for the west London club but is being targeted particularly to play as a left-sided winger.
A lovely finish 😍
