Arthur Melo is slowly working his way into contention at Liverpool following his loan move from Juventus.
The Brazilian made his debut against Napoli coming off the bench, although against Ajax, he remained an unused sub.
Although a report on Thursday evening claimed that Jürgen Klopp had already seen enough of him and the Reds were considering terminating his loan.
That is far from the case though, according to Guillem Balague, who claims quite the opposite and that the 26-year-old has in fact impressed the club’s coaching staff.
Arthur impresses Liverpool coaching staff
Liverpool have not decided to extend the loan or buy Arthur but have no intention to send him back in January. They are still assessing him. In fact the coaching staff congratulated him on his understanding of the system and his quality

The Spanish journalist reports that Liverpool’s coaching staff have been impressed with how Arthur has quickly got to grips with understanding their system and his quality.
The midfielder has also decided to ignore days off to spend time getting up to speed with the rest of the squad.
Arthur is set to be given another two free weeks after Liverpool’s clash with Chelsea on the weekend was postponed and the upcoming intentional break.
Meanwhile, the Reds are yet to make a decision whether or not to extend the loan or buy Arthur.
