The appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea boss could help N’Golo Kante’s contract renewal get over the line, according to the Telegraph.

The midfielder is keen to work with the Argentine and the pair understood to share a good relationship.

Pochettino wanted to sign the Frenchman whilst he was at PSG and at the time, it became clear that Kante would have jumped at the chance of playing under him.
