Tottenham Hotspur are looking for reinforcements in the January window as they look to match Antonio Conte’s ambitions.
One position Spurs appear to be targeting is right wing-back with that being a clear area of weakness in the squad.
Conte has three options currently, however, Emerson Royal, Matt Doherty and Djed Spence have all disappointed this season.
A player the north London club look to have set their sights on is Pedro Porro of Sporting CP and they seem ready to make an offer for the Spaniard.

Tottenham are accelerating negotiations over a deal for Pedro Porro, according to O Jogo.
Sporting CP are asking for a minimum of €35 million for the defender.
The Portuguese club don’t seem keen to lose the player in January, although a big offer is likely to tempt them into selling him.
Conte’s side will need to hurry up as they will likely face strong competition if they are take their time over agreeing a deal.
Many other top European clubs have also been linked with the defender.
