Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to be the club to take Franck Kessié out of FC Barcelona.
The midfielder has struggled to make it into the fold at Camp Nou starting just two of Barça’s La Liga matches this season.
However, despite his difficult circumstances, the Ivorian is determined to stay in Spain until at least the summer.

FC Barcelona and Kessié are expected to decide the player’s future this month, according to Sport.
The 26-year-old wants a more prominent role at the club although he understands he faces strong competition in midfield.
Everything indicates that the player will not leave in January, although several clubs are trying to land him.
He is determined to stay and succeed in Xavi’s team.
Kessié is not expected to cause a fuss if Barcelona decide to let him leave as he is out of favour with the coaches.
Spurs are the club leading the race to sign him and have made direct contact with Barça about a deal.
Antonio Conte knows the player very well and could make an attempt to prise him away in January.
