Arsenal are enjoying their new number 9 Gabriel Jesus following their £45 million deal for the striker.
The Brazilian had been looking for a new challenge and it was the north London club that acted the most decisive to take him from Manchester City.
But today, it has been revealed how the Gunners managed to sign him ahead of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid made Gabriel Jesus one of their main transfer targets, however, they were unable to negotiate a deal with either Manchester City or the player, Fabrizio Romano has revealed on the Here We Go Podcast.
Carlo Ancelloti is a massive fan of the forward and Real looked at him after missing out on a deal for Kylian Mbappé.
But, Los Blancos were unable to do a deal for the 25-year-old as they did not have another spot for a non-EU player in their squad.
The 13-time European champions even made him their top target but even if they had a spot for him, it is unclear whether it would have been a different story as Jesus has always been tempted by Arsenal.
