Manchester United head into the latets derby looking to exact revenge on their neighbours after falling to a 6-3 defeat at the Etihad back in October.
Since then Manchester United have climbed up to 3rd and within four points off City, whilst Pep Guardiola’s side have shown they are not at their top level of late.
Ahead of the game, Erik ten Hag spoke to the media on Friday afternoon.
When doing so, the Dutchman confirmed that Manchester United are close to signing Wout Weghorst, who is currently on loan from Burnley at Besiktas, but also added that the striker will not be available for Saturday’s game:
“We are close. He will not be available for tomorrow,” Ten Hag told the media.
The former Ajax boss also provided an injury update on his side: “I think Diogo Dalot is not available and Anthony Martial he trained this morning, so we have to wait to see how he trains. It will be decided tomorrow morning.”
