AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are close to completing a deal for Japhet Tanganga.

Talks between the two clubs have accelerated with just a few details remaining in the deal.

A fee and the outline of a deal has been agreed as a move edges ever closer.

Milan close to agreeing Tanganga deal

Tottenham and AC Milan have a fee of £20 million for Tanganga, according to Calciomercato.it.

The outline of the deal will be a loan plus an option to buy that could become an obligation.

Both these details have been agreed, now what needs to be determined is the conditions that will see the option become an obligation.

But it is understood that a finalised agreement is now “not far” away.

Forest exploring permanent deal for Tanganga

The Atheltic report that Nottingham Forest are also interested in Tanganga.

The newly promoted Premier League club have been exploring a permanent deal for the defender.
