Tottenham Hotspur have, late on Friday evening, announced a fresh addition to the club’s first-team ranks.
The latest player to have taken his talents to north London with a view to the season ahead? Nottingham Forest’s Brennan Johnson.
The name of versatile midfielder/attacker Johnson, of course, has long found itself front and centre amongst the chatter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the gifted 22-year-old had made his way to the top of the wishlist of Ange Postecoglou.
A long-time admirer of Johnson’s talents, Spurs’ new boss is understood to have made clear to Daniel Levy and the Lilywhites brass his desire to have the Welsh international at his disposal.

In turn, both ‘Ange’, and the Tottenham faithful, will no doubt be overjoyed to hear of the club’s deadline day move for Johnson, at long last, being made official.
‘We are delighted to announce the signing of Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest.
The Wales international forward has agreed a deal with the Club that will run until 2029. He will wear the number 22 shirt.’
Brennan’s signing is understood to have set the powers that be in north London back a sum with the potential to rise to £47 million.
We are delighted to announce the signing of Brennan Johnson! 🤍
