A pair of Premier League clubs have set their sights on the signature of a key member of the first-team setup at Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
The player in question? Daichi Kamada.
Gifted attack-minded midfielder Kamada is fresh off a stellar opening to the new campaign. After playing a key role in Eintracht’s Europa League triumph in 2021/22, the Japanese international has since taken his production to new heights, to the tune of four goals and two assists across six appearances in the German top-flight.
In turn, it should not come as a massive surprise to hear of Kamada’s efforts beginning to catch the eye of clubs across the continent.
And two such sides, as alluded to above, come in the form of Premier League pair Tottenham Hotspur FC and Leeds United.
As per a report from German outlet Kicker, the transfer teams in both north London and west Yorkshire have set their sights firmly on the services of the 26-year-old.
The midfielder’s current terms in Frankfurt are due to expire in the summer of 2023, meaning, should he ultimately opt against putting pen to paper on a new deal, a pre-contract agreement with another club could be struck as early as January.
