Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur have, according to reports, put in place another round of negotiations with Sporting CP, over the potential signing of Pedro Porro.
Recent weeks have of course seen it widely speculated that Porro, formerly of Manchester City, has piqued the attentions of the powers that be at Spurs, owing to his starring displays in Portugal with Sporting CP.
This comes as Antonio Conte and co. continue to seek out reinforcements at right-wing back, amid the struggles of Emerson Royal and the forgotten Djed Spence.

The hopes of the Lilywhites faithful, though, have been dampened of late, amid claims in the media that Daniel Levy and co. have no intention of forking out the sum required to coax Sporting into a sale.
But, as alluded to above, those of a Spurs persuasion with hope intact of Porro ultimately landing in north London before the month is out could yet see their faith rewarded.
This comes amid confirmation that the capital outfit’s pursuit remains very much ongoing.
The talks in question will see Porro’s signature take its place centre stage once more, as Daniel Levy and co. attempt to ‘establish if any wiggle room’ exists when it comes to the defender’s €45 million release clause.
Porro, for his part, is open to the move, but manager Ruben Amorim remains keen to keep hold of his star full-back.
