The player Tottenham are understood to be interested in is Real Madrid’s, Antonio Rudiger.
Rudiger joined Los Blancos on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer but could now be on his way back to London.
According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Tottenham are now prepared to provide Antonito Rudiger with an exit route out of the Spanish club and they are hoping to bring him back to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old was a key player for Chelsea during his time in England and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for the London club.
Rudiger may not be left-footed, but when he has previously played in a back-three for Chelsea, he fitted in fairly comfortably on the left of a three despite being right-footed.
This is good news for Spurs as if they do sign him, they could finally add some competition for Ben Davies at LCB, whilst also providing some solid cover for Cristian Romero.
