Tanguy Ndombele is set to leave Tottenham after mutually agreeing to terminate the midfielder’s contract.
Spurs bought Ndombele from Lyon in the summer of 2019 for a then club record £53.8million, signing a six-year deal.
Hopes were high for the Frenchman when he scored on his debut against Aston Villa but his career in North London has been an overall disappointment.
The 27-year-old struggled for fitness and form throughout his time at the club and found himself back at Lyon on loan in January 2022.
The Club can confirm the departure of Tanguy Ndombele following the mutual termination of his contract, effective from 30 June, upon the conclusion of his current loan spell.
Wishing you all the best for the future, Tanguy 🤍

He won Serie A during a loan spell with Napoli in 2022-23 before spending last season with Galatasaray.
Ndombele has now agreed to end his association with the Premier League club a year before its expiry.
He last lined up for Spurs in an FA Cup against Morecambe on January 10, 2022.
Overall, the midfielder made 91 appearances for the Lillywhites, scoring 10 goals.
A club statement said: “We should like to wish Tanguy all the best for the future.”
