West Ham United are expressing an interest in a soon-to-be former member of the first-team setup at Leeds United.
The player in question? Robin Koch.
For those not aware, German international Koch’s time at Elland Road is set to come to an end in less than two weeks’ time.
This comes with the 26-year-old, owing no doubt at least in some part to Leeds’ relegation, having opted against putting pen to paper on fresh terms in west Yorkshire.
Koch, as a result, will be available as a free agent on July 1st.

Just where, though, could the former Freiburg standout land next?
A number of clubs, unsurprisingly, are understood to be expressing a keen interest in Koch’s services with a view to next season.
Two, though, have today been tipped by a number of outlets as the most interested of all.
First up come Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt, viewed as the current frontrunners to strike a contract agreement with the versatile midfielder.
Also in the race, though, are West Ham United.
Ahead of the predicted departure of talisman Declan Rice, Koch is on the radar of David Moyes and co, who have requested to be kept informed of developments over the coming weeks.
In the meantime, the German is set to take some time to mull over the next step in his career.
Robin #Koch, evaluating his options now as he can leave @LUFC on free deal. He wants to be a leader and regular starter in his new team. He wants to be part of the EURO 24. @Eintracht with good chances at this stage as boss Krösche is pushing a lot! #SGE
