Conor Gallagher’s future at Chelsea this season remains unclear following the Blues’ opening two matches.
The midfielder returned from a hugely successful loan spell at Crystal Palace with the intention of finally breaking into the team at Stamford Bridge.
However, after the first two matches, he has found himself on the bench and this could be an issue for him.
Could Gallagher leave Chelsea?
🗣 “This is the season, no more loans for me.”

According to Sky Sports’ Michael Bridge, Gallagher may look to push for a move away from Chelsea if he remains on the bench.
That has so far been the case for the 22-year-old who has failed to start in games against both Everton and Tottenham.
This also comes at a time when the Blues are light in midfield, making it seem like he is out of favour with Thomas Tuchel.
With the World Cup just around the corner, Gallagher will be desperate to impress Gareth Southgate, but he needs regular football.
This will be especially important for the former Palace man who is yet to become an established member of the England set-up.
If he was to leave Stamford Bridge, he would not be short of suitors with eight Premier League believed to be interested in taking him in on loan.
