A fresh insight into the imminent arrival of Brazilian sensation Vitor Roque at Barcelona has been provided on Saturday.
For those not aware, the name of frontman Roque has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming that, at long last, the powers that be at the Camp Nou had signed off on the signing of the 18-year-old.
As confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blaugrana have ‘sent all the contracts’ to their counterparts at Athletico Paranaense, to add the Brazilian international to the club’s burgeoning crop of young talent.

The Barcelona faithful, however, need not get too excited just yet.
This comes with ensuing reports having revealed that Roque will not actually link up with his new teammates in Spain until the beginning of next year.
As per Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the gifted striker’s immediate arrival at the Camp Nou would have required a number of sales from Xavi Hernandez’s squad.
With as much likely to take time over the course of the summer, Barca, in turn, came to the decision to tie up a deal for Roque now, but allow the starlet to continue his development on loan with Paranaense for the first half of next season.
There was a possibility that Vitor Roque could join Barça this summer if the club sold players, but in the end, it was agreed that he would join in January 2024.
