Footage of Arsenal starlet Marquinhos finding the net for Mikel Arteta’s side has come to the fore on Saturday evening.
This comes after the Gunners kicked their pre-season schedule into gear in a behind-closed-doors friendly meeting with Championship outfit Watford.
Gunners boss Arteta unsurprisingly made use of the opportunity to afford game-time to a number of up-and-coming talents on the red half of north London, alongside the likes of Ben White, Gabriel Jesus, and Leandro Trossard.
And, as alluded to above, it was one such youngster who went on to bag the only goal of the day for Arsenal.
En route to an eventual 1-1 stalemate, Marquinhos, fresh off a loan stint in The Championship with Norwich City, was afforded a starting berth out wide.
His goal, meanwhile, was forthcoming early in the 2nd-half of action in England’s capital.

Similar goalscoring efforts over the weeks to come could well prove decisive in Mikel Arteta’s call on whether or not the Brazilian is ready to contribute on a weekly basis at The Emirates over the course of the season ahead.
