The name of Newcastle United star Alexander Isak has taken its place front and centre in the English media headlines on Thursday night.
This comes after the Swedish international conjured up what some have since gone as far as to label the ‘greatest assist in Premier League history’.
Newcastle, and Isak, were back in action a short time ago.
Amid ongoing efforts to seal a 3rd-place finish in England’s top-flight, the Magpies made the trip to Goodison Park, eyeing a 7th win from eight.
And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what Eddie Howe’s troops managed, courtesy of a dominant 4-1 triumph.
Isak, for his part, was introduced off the bench with 15 minutes from time, and, safe to say, made his impact very much felt.
En route to picking out Jacob Murphy’s simple finish, Isak skipped beyond a trio of Everton defenders, before casually dinking the ball beyond Jordan Pickford.
