Footage of Ruben Neves’ emotional farewell message to Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers has come to the fore late on Friday evening.
This, of course, comes as the Portuguese prepares to take his talents to Saudi Arabia.
Neves, for his part, continued to play a pivotal role at Molineux this past season.
All told, across Wolves’ 38 league outings, the 26-year-old featured from the off in all but five, notching six goals along the way.
With just a year left on his contract, and little progress having been made towards tying Neves down for the long-term, however, the powers that be at the West Midlands club recently came to the conclusion that now is the right time to cash in.
This comes after a club record £47 million offer was forthcoming, by way of Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal.
Ruben Neves’ six year stay at the club has come to an end.

And though Neves will no doubt be salivating at the prospect of the riches set to come his way in the Middle East, evidently, the decision to call time on his Molineux stint was not one taken lightly.
In a further post across their social media platforms this evening, Wolves unveiled a video message from their now-former captain, in which he bids a touching farewell to all associated with the club.
The clip is quite the watch, with Neves trying and failing to hold back the tears on more than one occasion, before assuring that he will ‘always be a wolf’:
