Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has, on Saturday, provided an explanation for the absence of Harry Maguire from his latest matchday squad.
United, of course, are currently locked in action.
After scraping past Wolverhampton Wanderers on opening day, the Red Devils made the trip to north London, eyeing a 2nd Premier League win in succession against Tottenham Hotspur.
As things stand in England’s capital, the two sides remain deadlocked, at 0-0.
Visitors United, meanwhile, as expected, fielded a strong XI, fielding the talents of the likes of summer arrivals Andre Onana and Mason Mount, and Marcus Rashford.

Completely absent from the Reds’ matchday squad on Saturday, however, as alluded to above, was Harry Maguire.
Speaking to the media at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, though, Erik ten Hag revealed that this, in fact, is not the case.
Instead, Maguire, it has been revealed, picked up a training ground injury on Friday, ruling him out of this evening’s action:
“He [Maguire] had a little problem in the last training session yesterday, so he couldn’t travel with us,” Ten Hag confirmed.
