Serie A giants Juventus’ exit from the Europa League on Thursday has had far reaching effects, looking set to make the life of Arsenal more difficult next season.
For those who may have missed it, Juve’s continental campaign was brought to an end a short time ago.
This came by way of a hard-fought 2-1 Europa League semi-final defeat at the hands of competition specialists Sevilla, who booked their spot in a showpiece meeting with Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma.
This competition is their bread and butter!! 🙌

Those of a Bianconeri persuasion will not be the only ones cursing their luck on the back of the action at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan coming to a close, however.
As alluded to above, so too will the Arsenal faithful.
This comes after it was revealed that Juve’s European exit looks set to have a telling effect on the Gunners’ seeding in 2023/24.
Instead, though, Mikel Arteta and co. look bound for pot 3, and a more difficult draw against, potentially, two top clubs from across the continent.
Major CL pot changes as Juventus are eliminated:
– AS Roma or Sevilla will be placed in Pot 1
– Juventus projected to be placed in Pot 2
– Arsenal moved from Pot 2 down to Pot 3
– FC Copenhagen moved from Pot 3 to Pot 4
