Hojlund became a Manchester United player in early August, with the Red Devils paying £72 million to Atalanta.

The Dane made his debut for Manchester United in the 4th gameweek of the season, coming off the bench vs Arsenal after final recovering from a back issue.

Much like Manchester United fans had to wait to see their mega-money signing take to the pitch for their club, they also had to wait some time to buy a Hojlund shirt.

This is because Manchester United were reportedly unable to sell Rasmus Hojlund shirts for over a month as they did not have any Danish ‘øs’ in stock.

The Daily Mail reported that fans have been prevented from purchasing Hojlund jerseys due to an oversight on the club’s part. As recently as last Friday, visitors to the Old Trafford Megastore were informed that a delivery of the ‘unique o’ required to fulfil requests was still being waited on.

But Manchester United have since announced that the ‘øs’ have arrived and that Hojlund shirts are now finally on sale.
