Manchester City clashed with Sheffield United in Sunday’s early Premier League kick off.
The Sky Blues were looking to become the only side with a spotless record after three game weeks.
And when all was said and done, the Manchester outfit came out on top.
It was a tighter game than most expected, with Sheffield United cancelling out Erling Haaland’s strike late on.
But Rodri, thanks to somewhat of an assist from Phil Foden, scored the winner late on.
Following the game, Juanma Lillo – who was in charge of the squad due to Pep Guardiola’s recent surgery – confirmed why Phil Foden did not start on Sunday.
“We have such a good squad and could see he wasn’t feeling very well and we were able to use that squad. It would have been easy for Phil to play but it was never in question because he wasn’t feeling well.”
