WWE began a 10-year partnership with Saudi Arabia in 2018 to host an annual PPV (or PLE as the company now calls it).
The last event took place in November 2022 and saw YouTube mega-star Logan Paul main event the show alongside Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The Saudi shows have often been littered with big names from WWE’s past and also a number of celebrities.
Boxing legend Tyson Fury defeated wrestler Braun Stroman at the event in 2019 and now another big name is seemingly being looked at to appear on the show.
WWE recently merged with Endeavour (the owners of UFC) and the new parent company of WWE want to boost the profile of their Crown Jewel show. As a result, they are working on bringing in Al-Nassr captain Ronaldo as a special guest.
The event will be held in November this year, but Ronaldo has yet to confirm whether he will be in attendance.
