Manchester United’s fans have taken to social media in their droves on Saturday evening, to make their frustrations with boss Erik ten Hag crystal clear.
This, of course, comes on the back of the club’s first defeat of the new campaign.
After scraping past Wolverhampton Wanderers on opening day, United, a short time ago, made the trip to north London, eyeing a 2nd win on the spin against Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur.
Safe to say, however, that such efforts, when all was said and done, came up well short.
This came as a dismal all-round showing ultimately culminated in the Red Devils being condemned to the wrong side of a 2-0 result.
Pape Matar Sarr was first on target for Spurs, before a Lisandro Martinez own goal rounded out the scoring on a memorable evening for Postecoglou and co.

On the back of the full-time whistle bringing a close to proceedings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a whole host of Reds stars have been singled out for criticism, from Mason Mount to Casemiro to Antony.
None, however, has been more widely targeted than the aforementioned Erik ten Hag.
Amid suggestions that the Dutchman got everything from his line-up to tactics wrong on Saturday, the Dutch tactician has been utterly slammed by the United faithful, with just some of the highlights from across Twitter showcased below:
This loss is 100% ten Hag’s fault. It is all on him

After 14 months
You can’t tell me Ten Hag is not at fault
Had every signing he asked for and more
This is on Ten Hag and he does the same crap over again
Rashford is not a striker!!!! Bruno is not a right winger!!!! Casemiro is old and slow!!!#TenHagOut

Can’t believe Rashford is still up front. Can’t believe he’s put Bruno on the right. Ten Hag must not see what we see

Ten Hag has a lot to answer for. Why do we look unfit? Both matches we’ve played and we’re nowhere near the intensity of the opposition. It’s not passion or desire or some other vague concept. It’s fitness and conditioning.

Starting Ganarcho and Antony is horrendous they have both zero ball retention, has Ten hag failed today#TOTMUN pic.twitter.com/nT9PPNfJHw

Don’t blame Ten Hag for a lot but he’s got to take blame for today. We haven’t lost because of a lack of effort we’ve lost because we was done tactically. Ange has had our pants down. #MUFC

I’m close to Turning on Ten Hag.
How can De Zerbi and Ange come in at the same time or less time and outplay us?
All whilst Ten Hag spending much more

I can’t believe how bad this season has been. Ten Hag should get some blame regarding his tactics, lineup and some of these signings.
