According to Libertad Digital, Zidane will become the next manager of the French national team.
The 50-year-old will take over from Didier Deschamps after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Zidane left Madrid with the idea of waiting until the French job became available and he has put off other offers in anticipation.
PSG and Manchester United both tried to convince him to join them, however, he opted to reject offers from the two clubs.
He already has an agreement with the French Football Federation (FFF) to succeed Deschamps after the World Cup.
