St Johnstone vs Dundee United match preview

A pivotal Tayside derby with both clubs desperate to remain above the relegation places.

Of the two, Dundee United’s position is slightly more perilous, although they do come into this one in terrific form.

The Tangerines beat Livingston last time out, with Jamie McGrath and Steven Fletcher the scorers at Tannadice.

Nevertheless, St Johnstone have now won just two of their last 16 matches, losing 11, dating back to Christmas Eve.

One of those victories did come at Tannadice in February, with all three Tayside derbies this season actually producing away wins.

The traveling contingent of Dundee United supporters will hope that this trend continues at McDiarmid Park.
