With Mbappé out of contract at the end of the upcoming 2023-24 Ligue 1 season, there is now a real possibility that the face of French football could be sold this summer in order for PSG to recoup a considerable fee to conduct their own squad refit along the Seine.
This development will no doubt have alerted Real Madrid after the Spanish giants have long been admirers, with their own needs potentially being met after Karim Benzema joined Saudi Arabian Al-Ittihad.
Previously linked with England star Harry Kane, Mbappé’s potential market availability could see Madrid pivot their interest, which could then in turn open a possible avenue for the Red Devils to prize Kane away from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned for further details.
