Watching players develop on loan and assessing whether they are ready for the first team is one of the biggest things done at the top Premier League sides, but it can be hard to keep track of where all the hottest prospects are. Fortunately, we’ve done the hard work.

Rhys Williams (Blackpool)

Williams picked up a shin injury over the international break that is expected to keep him sidelined until November.

Sepp van den Berg (Schalke)

Van den Berg is expected to be sidelined until 2023 with a ligament issue after being stretchered off for Schalke last weekend, the club have confirmed.

Tyler Morton (Blackburn Rovers)

Morton had an excellent game for Blackburn as they saw off Rotherham United 3-0. The midfielder won the penalty for his side midway through the first half, while he also created four chances and won ten of his twelve duels in an all round top display.

Conor Bradley (Bolton Wanderers)

Bradley played 78 minutes as Bolton fell to a 1-0 defeat against Forest Green Rovers, winning just one of his six duels in a disappointing display.

James Balagizi (Crawley Town)

Adam Lewis (Newport County)

Adam Lewis was taken off at half time as Newport County lost 1-0 to Rochdale.

Leighton Clarkson (Aberdeen)

Clarkson was introduced in the 57th minute for Aberdeen, creating three chances as his side suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Dundee.
