Arsenal fans must be sick of the sight of Manchester City.

After losing out to them in the Premier League title race, City are now looking to rival the Gunners for their top transfer target.

Pep Guardiola’s team have this morning firmly entered the race to sign Declan Rice.

City ready to bid for Rice

Manchester City are ready to submit an offer for Declan Rice, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Having just lost İlkay Gündoğan to FC Barcelona and both Bernardo Silva and Kavlin Phillips also set to leave, Guardiola wants a new midfielder.

Rice could well be that man, with City having now strongly entered the race to sign the player.

Meanwhile, City want to make an opening offer of £75 million paid in two installments plus £15 million in easily achievable bonuses.

The offer is believed to be more favourable than the Gunners’ latest bid, which saw them offer the same money but in more installments and less achievable bonuses.

West Ham will be rubbing their hands together with Arsenal and Man City set to go toe-to-toe, just like they did in last season’s Premier League title race.
