French giants Paris Saint-Germain could be sporting a different look come the 2023-24 Ligue 1 season according to media outlet RMC Sport (relayed by Get French Football) who have detailed a report linking club advisor Luis Campos has begun to formulate plans to break up the club’s star-studded attacking triumvirate.

Both Lionel Messi and Neymar could be moved on during the summer window despite the star South American pair combining for 24 goals and 21 assists in Ligue 1 this season as well as influential performances during the Champions League.

RMC’s reports state that Campos would look to view Mbappé as the linchpin of the overhaul, with some potential targets already being named with Bundesliga forward pair Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Marcus Thuram (Borussia Mönchengladbach) supposedly already on Campos’ shortlist as replacements, with a French core at the club possibly being the focus moving forward.

Other names brought to the fore according to GFFN for squad restructuring in other areas of the pitch were AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana, OGC Nice’s Khéphren Thuram, and Marcus Thuram’s Gladbach club-mate Manu Koné.

With the future of current PSG assets the likes of Leandro Paredes, Carlos Soler, and Renato Sanches remaining in the spotlight, the growing feeling certainly seems to be trending toward a broader reshuffle of the senior setup that involves more than just the front-line.
