Pep Guardiola has been speaking about how he plans to rotate Erling Haaland in the coming weeks.
Manchester City have a very busy schedule coming up with six matches in the next 18 days.
The forward has already proven himself to be a key player for City, however, Guardiola has admitted he will need to be rested.
The Man City boss has also spoken about the quality of Julián Álvarez, who is expected to replace him in the line-up
Guardiola told the media: “I tell you now when we have games every three days that Erling will not play, I will play [Julián Álvarez].
“It’s important for us to have a guy like [Haaland], Julian as well, you will see when he plays.
“I see in the training sessions with Julián.
“He does everything, a guy with an incredible sense of goal.
“The second goal, a cross, Julián fights because he’s there, we need people there.”
