Erling Haaland has made a dream start to life at Manchester City.
The striker has netted 14 goals in his first nine matches for the champions.
Now, City are doing all they can in order to prevent the Norweigen from picking up any injuries over the international break.
The 22-year-old had several issues last season and Pep Guardiola’s side will be eager for him to avoid any troubles for them.
Man City send medical man with Haaland
Manchester City have sent one of their doctors away with Erling Haaland to monitor him over the international break, as per the Daily Mail.
Mario Pafundi has been with the club as a sports therapist since the arrival of Guardiola back in 2016.
Given his injury troubles last season, City have been closely monitoring Haaland’s fitness and are keen to also track this whilst he’s away with Norway.
Pafundi will now be monitoring the 22-year-old’s fitness as Norway face games against Nations League ties against Slovenia and Serbia.
